How To Make A Delicious Turmeric, Ginger and Cinnamon Tea

This is an extremely healthy, easy to make tea which also is inexpensive.

All you need is some

  • Cinnamon,
  • Ginger
  • and Turmeric

You should be able to pick up these ingredients in any local health store.

Benefits Of This Tea

All three of these spices have been used for thousands of years to reduce inflammation, improve digestion, circulation, the immune system and promote a greater sense of well-being.

Herbs and spices have long been used to promote well-being. They are believed to be rich in antioxidants, which may help reduce free radical damage. In fact, Curcumin, a compound derived from Turmeric, is said to be higher in antioxidants than both Vitamin C and E.

Research has suggested that cultures who use these spices on a daily basis have the lowest rates of cognitive decline in the world.

How To Prepare The Tea

Add 1/4 -1/2 teaspoon (if using the ground powder) or 1 teaspoon (if using the dried herb) of each ingredient to a cup of just boiled water. Cover, and leave to simmer for 10 minutes or more. This allows for all the beneficial constituents (such as curcumin) to be extracted. Now you are ready to consume.

This tea can be consumed daily, or whenever you require.
